This is one of the insecticide granules that I have used on the exterior of my home to form a 10 foot perimeter around the house. Remember, scorpions eat bugs. So, to prevent scorpions from coming near your home - eliminate their food source so that they are attracted away from your home when its dinner time. This granule does a great job of accomplishing that.

Silicone Door & Window Strip

Scorpions can fit through incredibly tight spaces. If your doors or windows have weather stripping that has worn down and has not been replaced for a couple of years - you probably want to have it replaced. Keeping the gaps on your doors and windows sealed off will go a long way towards preventing scorpions from having access points into your house.

I have this exact product added to the inside of my exterior doors. It stops any drafts, as well as seals off the bottom edge of the door from the inside since it comes into tight contact with the floor. Sealing off gaps from outside is one of the most important things you can do to stop scorpions from coming inside, which is why products like these come in handy.

When using insecticides and other powerful chemicals, you want to make sure you're using a sprayer that's compatible with those liquids. This is one of the highest-rated sprayers, and it's compatible with all of the insecticide scorpion sprays that I use.

Scorpions tend to hide in dark places, and move in the shadows whenever possible. So these glue traps are a great addition to your scorpion control arsenal. Simply place them underneath furniture, along baseboards, and anywhere else scorpions prefer to hang out. Be sure to follow instructions and check on them frequently.

This is a wettable powder scorpion poison. Simply mix a packet of it with water in a sprayer, and spray it where needed to control scorpion access. I personally spray it on the exterior of my home around entry points such as doors, windows, crevices along the foundation, and along the foundation of the home. In Central Texas, I apply it twice per year (once in late spring, early summer right when bugs start resurfacing and daytime temps consistently hit 70+, and again late summer, early fall when scorpions are starting to look for places to make home during the cooler months).

I've used both the liquid concentration, as well as the powder version. Both work the same way, so it just comes down to your preference. Either way, you'll want to have a sprayer for both versions of this poison. I personally use them as exterior sprays along the foundation, around entry points (e.g. door thresholds, exterior window edges, etc), and any immediate surface area right in front of the access points into the home. Early on, I saw scorpions crawling up the exterior walls of my house, so I routinely spray a poison along the foundation and lower portion of the exterior wall of the house to eliminate any scorpions that dare to do so.

Diatomaceous Earth is an incredibly versatile, natural product. It is literally earth, or dirt. But it's a special kind. It's formed by tiny crystals with incredibly sharp edges that are invisible to the human eye. However, those sharp edges will dry your hands out if handled with bare hands too much - and they'll carve the exoskeleton of an insect up in a heartbeat. Which of course results in the death of the insect that crawls through the dust particles of Diatomaceous Earth.

It's not a poison - so they can't develop immunity. The only downside is once it gets wet, it's relatively useless at that point, so it has to be applied frequently, especially after rainy or humid weather.

I use this spray around the inside of my home. I spray it in cracks, crevices, along baseboards, on the door frame of exterior doors, and any other access point or preferred place where scorpions like to hang out.
